During the use of the website

a) Server logs
We collect data on every access to this website (so-called server log files). The access data includes: name of the website accessed, file, date and time of the visit, volume of data transmitted, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider. The processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the improvement of the operation, security and optimisation of our website.

b) Cookies
Our website uses cookies to ensure quality and to improve the functionality of our online presence. Cookies are text files which are stored on the device of a user and offer the opportunity, among others, to determine the number of visits of a user to a website. Our website uses transient and persistent cookies. Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser. These include in particular the session cookies. They store a so-called session ID, with which the various enquiries of your browser may be assigned to the session in common. As a result, your computer can be recognised again when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser. Persistent cookies on our website are automatically deleted after a specified period, which can differ depending on the cookie. The maximum period set by us for cookies, however, is one year. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time. You may configure your browser setting according to your wishes and, for example, refuse to accept third party cookies or all cookies. We would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all of the features of this website.
If your personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functioning of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of your visit to our website.

c) Contact form and e-mail contact
As part of your contact with us (e.g. using the contact form or e-mail), your personal data may be collected. In the case of collection via the contact form maintained on our website, the data in question are apparent from the specific contact form. These data are collected exclusively for the purpose of addressing your concerns or for making contact and are used by us. The data you provided are deleted by us as soon as your contact question has been answered conclusively. This is the case when it is apparent from the circumstances that the facts in question have been finally clarified and when there are no legal retention obligations that require us to keep them.
The legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in responding to your concerns in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Furthermore, if your contact enquiry is connected to the conclusion of a contract, then the legal basis for our processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

d) Matomo/Piwik
This website uses Matomo/Piwik, open source software for the statistical analysis of visitor accesses. Matomo/Piwik uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and allow analysis of the utilisation of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie on your utilisation of this Internet offer is stored on the server of the Fensterverbände in Germany. The IP address is rendered anonymous. You can prevent the installation of cookies through a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, we would like to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all of the features of this website.
The use of Matomo/Piwik on our website takes place in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for the purposes of optimisation and marketing.
On this website, we use the web analysis service Matomo (www.matomo.org) from the provider InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, (“Matomo”). Matomo gathers data on your utilisation behaviour, from which pseudonymised utilisation profiles can be created and analysed. Cookies are used for this purpose. The data collected with the Matomo technology (including your anonymised IP address) are processed on our servers. The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to identify the visitors to this website personally. If you do not agree with the storage and analysis of these data from your visit, you may refuse the storage and utilisation at any time by marking the corresponding box shown below. In this case, a so-called opt-out cookie will be placed on your browser, meaning that Matomo will not collect any session data. Please note that the complete deletion of your cookies will also lead to the deletion of the opt-out cookie and you will need to reactivate it again, if necessary.
The use of Matomo is based on our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of the behaviour of the users of our website for the purposes of optimisation and marketing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR

e) Google Web Fonts
We integrate fonts (“Google Fonts”) on our website from the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). When accessing our website, your browser loads the necessary web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
